I would not put up with it. Mind you I have never come across such demands. Must be the province of the outrageous utterances sometimes found on the internet.

Last I heard we are a democracy with a legislature and secular judicial system that
administers our rule of law. Anyone that wants to thuggishly and brutally ignore that will face its consequences. The minority that engage in such conduct stand condemned regardless their reasons. Of course the majority that don’t engage in such terrible and unlawful acts should not be treated as if they also have perpetrated such crimes. That would be unjust.
