Thought one purpose of this talk fest was to bring to light a variety of concepts at how to best improve on the existing taxation status quo.

But no, it seems that this is ONLY the case provided Swan LIKES/APPROVES your idea, ideologically.

Some ideas put forward were immediately jumped on and squashed as illogical, unacceptable, and subjected to the famous Swan Sneer.

So much for a democratic gathering of the minds, and freedom and/or creativity thought.

If Swan was intolerable previously, he's now got an ego the size of a house with this recent gong.

Whole scene starting to remind me of a sycophantic Royal Court from the 16th century - everyone too darn scared to upset Her Majesty the Queen.
