Suddenly after Rudd is in USA speaking to Obama ,and of course his advisors,and Woomera becomes an issue for Swan with the chinese??
Swans objection to OZL deal over PH ,a deflection from a Chinalco/RIO deal? some deflection, first thing that was thought of,a good deflection in itself though, away from USA interests.
MAYBE the secret relationship between USA and Australia at Woomera is the real issue,and not wanting the chinese in listening range of USA interests, THAT is what is behind Swan's (read USA's) objection over PH.
The coincidence is Rudd meeting with Obama and his aides,this explains the sudden 'leaping from the shadows' LOL, of Swan and why it was not brought up during negotiations for OZL IMO the Australian government has very little idea what the USA is doing on our soil,except on a need to know basis,well apparently we needed to know that USA was not happy, and with a quick tug of the forelock our supposed commie loving ALP bent over as fast as they could for the USA .
