    If we are better off without the resources industry don't tax them, leave them well alone.

    What has the resources got to do with the exchange rate. If we where unreliant on resources and where competitive our exchange rate would be higher regardless of resources.

    The fact industries rely on the lower exchange rate competitive subsidy means they are flogging a dead horse. These industries need to ship up or ship out , the resource industry has nothing to do with it as we shouldn't have a floating exchange rate anyway susceptible to the exchange manipulators . China doesn't out up with it and the left aspire to be communists!!

    Go figure??
