The reality is that TAX has roughly a factor of 3:1 in its negative effect on GDP when compared to leaving the money in the hands of those that produce the GDP.

The Tax Take should only be what is required to run those institutions that free enterprise has no authority to run, eg Military, Public Service, Gov't, Basic Levels of Education, Police etc.
