Treasurer Wayne Swan said that he would not be drawn on wether there will be a new flood levy.
Last time the flood levy was pronouced by Gillard as a once only emergency levy.This followed the previous years levy,once only also,but for a difference reason.
One could be pardoned for thinking that under labor the income tax top rate has climbed by 1%....it is now almost a permanent fixure.
In earlier days govts used to have funds put aside for these events ...not this govt.
