Your bank will also inform you of what you need to do to keep the same account active.

So it all becomes a non event.

You keep your money in the same account with the same bank.

Apart from having to reactivate an inactive account every 3 years instead of every 7 years, nothing has changed.

So no "rub" as you keep your money in the bank.
