I understand your point and think you have made it well.
I just don't agree that the umpiring in AFL is anywhere near as bad as the losers (most often) make it out to be.
In every sport there will be decisions which are disputed but I still think that over time the % of questionable decisions is quite low. I don't believe in blaming the umpire for my team's failure to win a game.
As for the commentators, again I don't have a problem with most of those in the AFL although a few such as Eddie Everywhere are a bit beyond the pale.
