I feel your disgust guys, I really do.
But, I think developments like this are very 'positive' for our gold investments.

Swedish investors that rushed to cash & bonds because of their default flight-to-safety status are now being forced to reconsider their options.

The swedish CB hopes they collectively rush back to equity markets, houses, etc with this hamfisted tactic. Those very markets that continue to list badly from all the shelling they've received in the past 18 months. The markets that got too overpriced because of lax credit control.

I reckon the tactic will backfire. Collective sentiment toward such markets is too damaged from the past 18 months of chaos. Now, maybe, finally, investors will consider other forms of savings. Gold, oil, land, food, etc.

Lets see how Swedish citizens react.
