If you look at the number of cases Australia got imported from the US before it was even recognised as a significant problem there, it must have been very widespread - think about it, the small number(relative) of Australians returning from the US was a large amount of our initial cases. Now in the US, the states that were hit hard to start with(New York the obvious one to look at) have dwindling cases yet the states that didn't get hit initially are getting hit now. My bet is states like New York(and countries like Sweden, Italy, France, UK etc) are pretty much at herd immunity.
This worries me for Australia, we could see this drag out for years the way it's going
