I think the original estimate of 60% of the world population becoming infected still stands true. 76% of infected show zero symptoms. Even in lockdown staff need to attend to others in aged care centres and if they have no symptoms they can still attend work - which then contains risk of infected the centre. We saw what one hotel can do, and the horse has now bolted the gate.
Best thing we can do is adapt, evolve and make adjustments to how we live and do things. We can still have all the nice things and do all of the nice things, but it a more managed manner.
