Only the US seems to be suffering badly during summer. Even now in winter most of Australia is doing OK except the coldest places excluding cold Tasmania which is an island state. There are only two cases remaining in all of Queensland. I suspect temperature is only one factor though. I read that obese people with any level of diabetes are most at risk. That could explain the pandemic in America.
