Come on Trig, surely you know better? What do you mean by BS explanations for the SP, or some "other excuse besides the war"... Those other excuses are the fundamentals we've understood and discussed for years.
- The permitting is still unknown and delays are never good for the SP.
- Financing is still a big unknown.
- Customers and off-takes have been de-risked a bit more off-takes are still required that is for certain.
- What about the general recession fears? When America stocks fall the ASX blindly follows, it's a meme at this point.
PS - Cherry-picking prices like that is not as useful as you think. I can easily do it right back at you, let's cherry-pick the several times when the SP dropped into the $1.20's in 2021, pre-war! Or what about that time when the SP went from $1.05 to $1.50 during the war! Comparing prices like this is almost pointless as a core argument on its own because it's too easy to create your own narrative.
Why do you need to use the war as an excuse to justify the SP? You're unusually gung-ho about it too. What happened mate, you've clearly fallen down some rabbit hole. Might help to detox from the internet for a while.
