Symbolism is everything regardless of its original origins. Take the other Byzantine symbol of being born of purple (being of royal blood) adopted by the Homosexual lobby as part of its perversion as a form of royal chosen identity. The Rainbow showing Gods gift of mercy to not destroy humanity completely after becoming perverted, now adopted by the same group. The happy joyful word 'Gay' being again adopted by the same group and now the word 'marriage' (everyone only thinks of Gay marriage now). The irony of so many symbols like the swastika being altered into the opposite is fascinating to turn white into black.
