And I dont know how this works, but their announcement definately said a 100% subsidiary of GMR picked up all that ground around the Mali project so that new stuff may well be 100% owned by GMR not the JV.

GMR will obviously be in a great position to pick up what the JV doesn't want to do if it looks attarctive. I would imagine the surrounding ground may have been too greenfields for the JV which only wants advanced projects with a resource already in the ground to spend its money on.

GMR knows where the JV is going to strike and if sanctioned by the JV to do so, can get first dibs on locking up ground around any project before anyone else gets a sniff. GME gets a free hit.
