These days you can get instant and reasonably accurate grades by using hand held XRF analysis instruments. You would think Drake would have one of these or access to one. They cost about $40k.....a bit disconcerting really..they would tell you the grade of copper and nickel to within a few 0.01%
(Theye are not accurate enough for gold analysis)
