Swedish Government inquiry recommends lifting uranium mining ban
The public consultation process period has now closed following the release of the inquiry supporting the lifting
the current uranium mining ban, announced on 20 December 2024, by the Government of Sweden.
Aura was invited to and has submitted a supporting submission for the removal of the uranium mining ban. The
legislative proposal is anticipated to be brought to the Swedish Parliament for consideration on 1 January 2026.
