Since my initial posting regarding the suggestion by AEE that their tenement in Sweeden may hold a similar quantity of Uranium recource to the adjacent tenement there has been a further release to the market regarding this issue.
On 8th December 2009 AEE through Bob Beeson released news to the market regarding the Sweeden tenement. In this release he uses very strong language to again suggest a similar resource to the adjacent tenement. As below.
Continental Precious Minerals Inc. has recently reported one of the largest JORC or 43- 101 compliant uranium resources (1.05 billion pounds) in the world in the adjoining permits to the Storsjn Project. Aura anticipates that it will have a resource of similar size in its permits. This programme will define part of that resource
The statement above can only be viewed as an attempt to raise the share price through public interest. As I have stated previously there would appear to be no irrefutable evidence to support this statement.
Given the powerful nature of this announcement and the lack of acceptable evidence to support the assertion I believe this release is absolutely irresponsible and manipulative. I believe that this statement will be overwhelmingly viewed as an attempt to manipulate the market and ultimately it will result in the destruction of the financial and professional futures for Aura and all executives.
You may also wish to view the release of 10th September 2009. Consider the timing and the placement price. Consider the likely success of this placement should the share price fall below this figure.
