If you subscribe to the theory that Hanlong and associates were involved in holding the price down in the low 30cents prior to the takeover offer then you would have to also believe that they released the brakes 3 days before Sundance received the offer. IMO if it breaks 50 cents and holds it is a sure sign that a sweetened bid has been made or a partnership is about to be announced.
