Very true, I finally have all my accounts unblocked from 4 different Australian online only banks. Ubank took the longest @20 days to unlock. I've never done so many certified ID checks, videos and photos and answered so many personal questions to bank staff on the phone in all my life. The stress was huge at the start but got less and less the more I educated myself. The banks tell you nothing or very little about why they are doing it. Australian Unity bank is what started the chain reaction of events and was by far the most invasive of personal privacy. I will never bank with them again as what they requested was ridiculous but necessary for me to get access to my funds in the quickest possible manner. They still wanted me to continue banking with them after my accounts were unblocked but I just couldn't after what they put me through so AMP now have the funds Australian Unity could have had.
