So true, I'm also self funded unemployed person but my savings has increased every year since April 2020 through my investment luck. On paper it looks exactly like money laundering but they can't prove anything because the money is all transferred to me via Australian banks. There is no third party other than my trades on the asx. it's just demoralising having to explain yourself and be treated like a criminal but if it means I can sleep in on mornings and not go to prison I'm all for it.
