The problem with SWT (ie ROR) is that is speculative and also very illquid, so if a few people buy the stock it moves heaps, which enables the people already in the stock to clean up.

Also, SWT never was able to do it in the peak of the tech boom it could not really run over 50c, even with as few shares as it had.

DVT never made money, Foxtel doesn't even make money, cable is a difficult area. Perth is not a big city and cabling around a few blocks is not a hard achievement.

And thus there are some problems.

But it might be a good trade, if you can buy the stock without rising it 20% in doing so...
