Australian-listed producer of barramundi, Australis Aquaculture, has received an accolade. It won the "Special Award for Environment" at the 2007 "Annual Australian Sustainability Awards". Josh Goldman, managing director of the company, expressed his satisfaction with the recognition it received. Australis Aquaculture operates a facility in Turners Falls in the US. The company's water filtration and sterilisation systems are so efficient that 99.9 per cent of the water is re-used
