Likely to lead to culling of national flocks of livestock. We are talking tens of millions of pigs and chooks and as evidenced by last nights moves on grain markets, this will reduce demand for grain and other things neded to grow grain, fertilizer namely.
If it is a human pandemic then the affect on demand for food will be obvious and it won't be to the upside in the longer term ...
