Perhaps we are getting off topic a little so let get back on track shall we?
I see this swine flu disaster as being just that. A disaster of monumental proportions.
It will hit all the worlds markets, most of the world’s tourism and of course most world economies.
This is the biggest problem facing the world since the global economic crisis began during 2008 make no mistake.
If this situation gets out of control and becomes a pandemic we could see huge loss of jobs in tourism and associated industries that live off the tourist.
Already hard hit, this could deliver to the hospitality industry a knock out blow from which it will take years to recover from.
Add to that the flow on effect on the mainstream economy and it all adds up to what I previously described as a catastrophic event.
