    How do you explain to people here what the real threat is.

    Can you absorb this. I will keep it simple.

    ITS NOT THE SWINE VIRUS itself that experts are worried about. Its the fact that this is a completely NEW virus never seen before that has the potential to change into something more lethal.

    The 1918 pandemic stated exactly the same way with the same type of changed h1n1 VIRUS. Started mild then got adaptions from other flu strains and became nasty.

    Hopefully nothing will come of this virus but the potential is there, as with all viruses, to mutate.

    Can i make this any clearer.
