swing traders only-gauging the exit signal

    Hi friends,

This chart is purely a technical representation of historical price movement and contains no forecasting elements, and has zero content or discussion on fundamental analysis. Please ignore or skip if this content is not for you, thanks.

Here is an updated chart of VPG at the close on Friday 5th May and is an attempt to show how far we have progressed in the present short swing trade.

In the absence of any exit indicators, we are still in a good confirmed uptrend movement, with possible further moves upwards.

While we have not sighted any of the exit indicators that would trigger an exit alarm, we can see that for the cycle chart ( the second sub-graph chart), the yellow line has reached to the top and is near to the blue line. This indicates we have to be more watchful and careful for any existing trades as once the yellow cycle line cuts above the blue line and starts to curve down, the exit alert will be flashed on....and usually the other exit indicators such as the red dot sell alert, the red cross and the blue trendline changing to red will then occur

As this is not a forecasting chart, the exit signal will of course be sighted only ONE DAY immediately after the occurrence.

For more timely charts, one can use any of the hourly or minute charts and other available indicators to gauge the price behaviour.

For those interested, I have had previously posted a forecasting chart which shows my attempt to catch a glimpse of the possible swing top, where you can count the number of days to that possible event. It should still be available for checking from the popular posts for today.

May the best prices be yours.
