Australia is multicultural and diverse, particularly these days. But I can't imagine how hard it would be for the current leaders in Taiwan with Biden saying he would respond with force if Singapore was invaded. China like it or not is a major Australian trade partner in a lot of the spectrum of export metals iron ore being one of the main ones.
China has responded to what Biden has said, but the US is our long-term ally. Difficult times smiling in both directions at the same time. and shaking hands with others.
