LIFE SAVING CASTING OPPORTUNITY
Producer Simon Burton has been commissioned to produce a highly dramatic Occupational
Health and Safety trainingi video for the CFMEU which is the largest trade union
representing construction workers in Australia.
The aim of the video is to literally save Australian construction workers’ lives. It will be
screened as part of the CFMEU’s commitment to trainingi.
The drama will portray those who are involved with and affected by a terrible accident that
takes place on a construction site, and then explains strategies to improve on-site safety.
CHARACTER DRIVEN VERNACULAR DIALOGUE DRAMATIC ACTION
All roles are paid. Generally, I’m seeking experienced actors, graduates or undergrads to
form an ensemble. Rehearsals are planned to develop character and the group’s dynamic.
The production is very ambitious; all cast will need to be well prepared for a very tight
filming schedule.
