Swish Group has established the three additional business units required to support its Digital Signage and Digital Video on Demand Businesses: Digital Production, Advertising Sales and Digital Equipment Supply. These divisions all continue to trade profitably and the Company is continuing to look for further acquisition opportunities in these areas.
1).Swish Group Ltd (ASX:SWG) has been selected by transport group Connex to provide a digital signage network at Flinders Street station, Melbourne.The network is likely to be rolled out to other stations in theConnex rail network.The signage will deliver a range of travel related informationincluding train timetables and commuter information.The project revenue is likely to be significant in terms of future potential but it is not possible at this stage to determin the precise earnings impact on Swish.
2).Swish Group (SWG) reports its 51% owned subsidiary Australian Vision Systems Pty Ltd has entered into an agreement with Tabcorp to become a preferred supplier for the sale of audio visual equipment to its extensive TAB retail network.The TAB retail distribution, which comprises wagering outlets in Victoria and New South Wales, consists of more than 550 outlets in Victoria and 2,000 outlets in NSW. It is anticipated that many of these outlets will upgrade to new flat screen TVs, plasma and LCD screens over the next few years and AVS has already established supply arrangements internationally to service the anticipated demand for that new equipment. While at this stage it is too early to assess the financial impact on the Company the deal will make a positive contribution to Swish revenues and will be earnings per share positive from commencement.
