Heard a jet go over the house at a low altitude, then another and a third, fighters jets. I thought, the Swiss can't have an airforce, must be overenthusiastic Luftwaffe, Austrian or Italians pilots hitting the afterburners and overshooting the Swiss border.
I googled Swiss Airforce just to be sure, too my surprise they have a large airforce, including 26 FA18 Hornets according to Wikipedia. I knew the Swiss made the Pitatus Porter, but not the amount of different models, they also make a fighter under licence from the USA, smart mob the Swiss.
The Swiss Airforce is quite old, established in July 1914
