"would be interested in chartists view."
I am not a chartist, but a few weeks back I was listening to 2 chartists (can't recall names) on Sky Business Channel. This was a few days after the retail offer had closed and WES was trading around $16.
One of the chartists opinion was that WES would probably rise from where it was then ($16 ish) to about $19.30 to $19.50. It would then fall back to about $13.50, before commencing a slow gradual rise that would bring it well in to the twenties and beyond.
The are right so far on the rise to mid $19s. It will be interesting what happens over the next week. A fall back or does it continue to rise.
Just to show where I stand, I sold half my holdings a week or so ago at $18.27 and intend to buy back in if it falls as they suggested. If not, I am happy to take some profits (I got these as additional shares under the retail offer) and will probaly switch to some other stocks I am interested in.
