Manny, The Bible records history as it actually happened with no attempt to whitewash the serious sins even of God's chosen people, but along with that it provides the reason things went so horribly wrong. Man rejected God's sovereignty and has suffered the consequences ever since.
This record saturated with strife, violence and immorality unlike Hollywood is not for our entertainment however.
