To be fair, Grant, net tangible asset backing isn’t much of a guide, surely? Your readers may be interested to learn that Iinet, for example, presently has net tangible assets of 4c per share, yet is trading at $2.88.
Telstra, which actually owns most of the infrastructure, only has NTA of $1.11 per share as compared to a share price of $5.02.
And even the mighty NAB, which must rank among the bluest of the blue, only has an NTA of $10.37 compared to a shareprice of $30.60.
