In my 15 year career of stock "investing", every good company always gets taken over before long term investors get to really cash in on their speculative position.

Senex is well managed, with low debt with a very strong future as both an oil and a gas producer. It just reminds me of buying into other mid tier producers before they got bought out by the majors.

I've only had this happen 3 times before but the conditions are ripe and I'll be surprised if senex is able to fend off the majors and gets to fully appreciate what they have worked hard for.

My preference of course is to keep holding and retire on this stock - either way I can't lose as a shareholder.
