I cant get over the fact that SXY is worth $1.1b, while BPT is worth only $1.7b. This makes BPT look like an absolute bargain.
Beach has production guidance of 7.5m barrels while SXY has a oil production target of 700,000 barrels. As you can see SXY wont even produce 10 percent of what Beach has forecast.
SXY 100% owned shale gas tenemants estimated to have 86-122tcf Gas in place. While Beach 100% owned shale gas tenemants have over 300tcf gas in place or 60tcf recoverable.
It is like comparing neptune to jupiter. There is a large difference in fundamentals but a much smaller difference in valuations.
