In thinking about I believe what we may be seeing is the Norway fund (I think it was Norway) trying to offload their position in SXY, but with the low liquidity in the market this has created far more sellers then buyers and is taking longer to offload, therefore the weakness in the stock price.
I may be incorrect but this is what I believe is happening, so hopefully in a few days we’ll see the bounce once this backlog is picked up at these ludicrous sale prices.
There is far too much good news in SXY’s favour for this opportunity to be falling on deaf ears.
Wait for the backlog to be cleared and we’re off to the races.
