What's going on is the lithium price cycle. It was on its highs, now it's on its lows. Due to bad luck, SYA started producing at an awkward time, so while still ramping up production the lithium price is hovering around their break even, maybe a bit under. They can stay afloat for a while with the cash on hand, but nobody is certain when the lithium price will turn up. When it does, there will be blue skies for SYA, but until then there is uncertainty, which a short attack has been playing on.
