Holding the line?

Yes SYA lost 1 pip to finish at 8.4c. Our volume was moderate - just over 78m shares traded. Not a very strong day both with indices and Li sector - so good help from macro. So decided to do some back test and consolidation to test supply etc. So overall satisfactory, as held the current level for now. But needs to hold here and at least be in 8s.

ASX Li stocks were mixed, but not panicking, in fact most nudging slightly higher. Of the 96 stocks that I track, average gain was just over 1%.

What next:

SP 500 had one of the best weeks in over a year and the best day for quite sometime on Friday. Yet ASX was struggling to make a big move and gained only 0.25%

After making a big move and getting over 4300 on SP 500, the general sentiment is that there may be small pullback or back test of some numbers, possibly 4200/4250, but hopefully from just above 4250 should be fine. But if the bulls who are on rampage want to take it further, 4450 is the next stop.

So what will happen tonight? US Futures no direction as yet. Asian markets largely green, some big greens in Nikkei etc. Mostly earning reports tonight. But technical and sentiment could be key driver tonight. Some volatility, back test etc to find the point from where to go up next. A good green still would be very good. But if it falls, lets hope it falls a fair bit intra-day and comes back towards the end for a smaller red.. Will that happen?, Lets hope so. All the best..
