LG invested in $75m of PLL shares - they didn't give $75m as a form of pre-payment. Nobody knows what the discount is, but I'd bet considerable money that it's a single digit percentage. The best deal Keith made for PLL was that offtake agreement. That was expertly negotiated at a time when lithium prices were truly terrible. Keith won't just give that away easily.

PLL weren't desperate for money at the time - they could have easily liquidated SYA shares if they needed.
