SYA Weekly Report, page-141

Guys, hope you are having a good Easter break.

I certcertainly am. I am on a 10 day trip to New Zealand, currently at a place called Franz Josef. Looking at the glaciers and having a sip.

I won't be back until next Sunday. So I won't be having my usual Weekly Reports, for those who care, sometimes I think of there is anybody. But it's become my habit for last couple of years, so I know I am not doing my part. So no Weekly Report for next week as well.

But Li macro overall is not looking bad. For those who read my posts, I want ALB to be over 128. Next to stay over that and get to 130s. It has done that. Currently at 131. But that's only a neutral position. We want it to get positive. To get to 140s, but more importantly, get towards 150. We might have couple of hiccups, but after a pessimistic outlook few days back, at this stage, in my honest belief, where I could be wrong, we are on an optimistic play. The odds of Li doing well from here is better than doing bad. I have taken a punt on a recovery, but as I always write, if price action is not good, I will change my opinion.

Next week, Li macro should get better. SYA has a hard time. I wrote earlier that I let go my shares at 10% loss, fortunately I put that on others which brought me to break even. SYA, my holding currently is very low. This is the same play for me for last 2 years. On any weakness, I have exited, no emotion involved. It has worked well. Even on my last buy. I like SYA, but can't ignore what is happening.

Something big will happen one day. I believe it.
SYA has not done well. It's a double edged sword. Those who don't do well, continue not to do well. Another theory, those who haven't done well, will bounce back most, when things turn around. It's individual choice, risk reward etc. If things turn around in Li, SYA may be a happy camping ground.

So for all long termers, I wish you well. I am very low on SYA, but want to see the back of shorters, before plunging. I hope I am back soon. One day we will win. All the best
