Weekly Review Li Stocks - 28th Feb 2025

Here is the weekly review figures and charts that I do every week. It is useful only for those interested in trading or those who hold multiple shares and based on performance would like to keep re-balancing as we go. I do hold a number of Li stocks and like to trade. This is the reason I include a number of Li Stocks in my analysis.I also have performances of Li stocks for 2024 and 2023 - for those interested in looking at longer term view.

This is no reflection of all AU Li stocks as I have only included those that I am interested. In my list are shares that I hold, held before or planning to buy in near future.Since this is my list, I may have missed some good stocks. The averages are simple averages and not weighted averages. So the average don't reflect AU Li average. This is just for my tracking and analysis. I have both ASX and US stocks in two separate figures.

This week I have not added any new stocks to list, so my list still contains 90 stocks.

And no respite yet for SYA. Yet another 52 week low on Friday, on a much larger volume. Dropped from 2.2 to 1.9 for the week. So a drop now from 39 to 1.9. The rise from 1.9 to 39 was mercurial. So has been the drop. Over 95% of its value gone from the highs. Looks like more about survival now. Hopefully things turn around, but will need huge change in Li macro for that to happen.

Major price action indicators are mixed -

• ALB - Loss of 5% for the week, moved from 81.21 to 77.03
• Ganfeng - Gain of around 1.6% from the week - Tianqi lost 3%
• PLS/LTR - PLS lost 9% but LTR gained 4%
• Spot Price - Down slightly for the week, I think over 1%

So what do these numbers say? No clear direction at this stage. Holding pattern. Sometimes it plays weak this pattern. Lot of ASX Li stocks making 52 week lows every week in this phase. So still weakness, which may continue unless Spot price, AB/Galfeng make some big strides.

So what may happen next week? US and ASX Li stocks are still in the grip of going down. Ganfeng holding well, so may have to take a lead. Otherwise we could see the weak play continuing..
