Another key thing is that the Syama has two different processing plants for dealing with the ores you described - a 2.4 Mtpa sulphide plant and a 1.5 Mtpa oxide plant.
From a sulphide point of view, it's also important to understand that the Syama ore is 'double refractory' which means it needs a much more complex processing plant otherwise the recovery would be too low. This is why it has a roaster. Roasting is truly a metallurgical process and not very common (I think there is only one roasting plant in WA for example).
