One thing buyers have learnt though, after supply shows its intent, is to hold back, and not push the price higher for the interim, until the sell side (placement excess) is out of the way.

You dont stick your neck out of the trenches or get it knocked off.
But, IMO, accumulate where you see significant variance from what you expect the price point at, with long term expiry. And eventually if the heads remain on upward course, ops will tighten toward them.
