Maybe I am confused by what you are trying to say, but I think you have misunderstood what I meant. If I had bought SYARA on market at 0.002, then my minimum buy order needed to be 250,000 for commsec to allow me to place the order. If I had done that, then I didn’t necessarily need to exercise them all by paying the $12,750 to SYA; I could have let some lapse or sold them back on market before the exercise date. Regardless, my issue was was that I wanted to purchase about $5,000 of SYA at 0.051, thus I wanted to exercise approximately 100,000 ‘entitlements’, but commsec wouldn’t allow me to purchase only 100,000 because it required the minimum buy order to be $500, which was 250,000 entitlements at 0.002. My point is that it makes it difficult for retail investors to purchase a smaller amount of options on market as it requires you to purchase $500 worth, which may actually be tens of thousands of dollars worth to exercise only $500 worth of entitlements.
