Often when there is an SPP there is a sell down after the holding date by those wanting to sell a few to get funds to take up an offer to buy them at a lesser price. That date was the 7th so it was possible to sell from the 5th and still be the registered holder. It is also too late now to buy and get the entitlement. I expect a little extra selling until Oct 21 with this still occurring until then. This means a little less buying and a little more selling with a resultant pressure on the SP. This could then be followed by some selling of the new shares to take a profit. After that settles down then the SP will settle down also. (hopefully settle UP)
