My price assumptions in first post in this thread were just copied from IXR DFS. When I compare against a project I use the same price inputs as they vary between 100 USD/kg to 250 USD/kg Nd2O3 between studies. Going forward I might just use 100 USD/kg pricing for benchmarking as that's lower than any study price assumption I have seen.
My thoughts on long term pricing (Post #: 72317376) would be around 100-120 USD/kg Nd2O3, which aligns with the past 3-year average. Given both Lynas and MP break even around 65 USD/kg per their half year results (not including sustaining and development CAPEX), I don't see how the price can sit below that level for long.
Key one for us is if we can be one of the lowest cost projects, even lower than Lynas? So I am more interested in how we benchmark with peers as opposed to our absolute economics given REE pricing is so unpredictable.
