But the things you have said have no relevance at all to the incident at hand. Wait until a magistrate sees the video evidence if it goes that far. It may even go further and be handed up to the district court before a judge. Depends on what charges if any are laid on the poor copper and the other guy getting hit. I am sure the police will hit him with every charge possible under the sun to make him look worse than Hitler.

I am not defending either of them as they both went to far. the member of the public for being a drunken idiot and the copper for going to far with the beating.

Plus the man was held down and the copper was beating him senseless. ( that is just as bad as a man down and laying the boot into him) A bit below the belt and uncalled for.

I would not like to be the copper if the incident goes before Pat O'shea.
