some coppers are not eternal warriors,and some aren't suited to hysterical grief at the doorknock.

s.e.s. volunteers do not get paid to cut victims out of the type of wrecks that some coppers take stress disability on the strength of. cancer doctors give death verdicts every day. elderly care homes,ambos,funeral directors all work every day in the atmosphere that cripples some cops.

just give them the jobs they can do well, and someone else does the other stuff.
