Last week a Perth officer was struck in the head with a sword, his partner only tasered the attacker, while many said he should have been shot. I have an uncle who has been a paramedic for decades but only in recent years has he had to physically subdue so many he was called to help because they attack him or a colleague. While his family fears that one day he may not be able to get the upper hand.

Its funny how some go to work and try milk work safe for what its worth an excuse to not do things they are perfectly capable of yet expect others like these police who are just other people at work to put their lives at risk for the small chance of saving an attacker.

Its not their fault the government lets criminals from other countries in or gives home grown trash a slap on the wrist. Should they risk their life in a situation that likely could have been avoided if someone shuffling paper in an office done a better job. Sometimes they get it wrong but only they will know if that was the case.
